Therapy: THE Pool Party in Miami Beach

Everyone knows South Beach is famous for its sizzling nightlife scene. Whether you are into ultra-lounges, mega clubs or swanky hotel bars, Miami has it all. But the question readers keep asking us is what about the daytime scene?

David Dee from New York sent us the following email last week, “I love visiting Miami Beach in the winter and have been many times — especially during Winter Music Conference. The food in your city is amazing. I’ve hit up Prime 112, Nobu, Blue Door Grill and Ago and can’t decide which one I like the best. At night I’ve been to Mansion, Prive, Mynt, Mokai and the Shore Club. Prive was definitely my favorite, but I had a blast at all of them. I usually come down with a group of dudes and we stay at the Lowe’s or the Delano. The pool scene there is OK, but next time we come down we would like a little more of an aggressive daytime scene. My boys and I are from Long Island and we usually hit up Neptunes in the Hamptons or De Jays in the Jersey Shore. We actually just got back from Vegas and had a blast at the Sunday pool party at the Hard Rock called Rehab. I know you will hook us up with nightlife while we are in South Beach, but do you recommend any pool parties like the ones I described above? Thanks.”
