Hungry? Check out Miami Iron Fork October 30th
I’ve been seeing a lot written and shown on TV about Miami’s foodie scene and with the South Beach Food and Wine Festival coming up soon, another media stepchild, The Miami New Times, is sponsoring the Iron Fork 2008. This is slated to be a showdown of chefs from more than 20 of Miami’s best eateries, as well as live music and the obligatory after party (a must in Miami). Actually, I’m surprised there’s not an official pre-party and a “get ready to pre-party” party.
In all seriousness, this is going to be pretty cool. We’re talking Dada, Capital Grille, Forte, and Ocean Prime. I’m always down for some good food and the chefs will be bringing their A games as they cook for celebrity judges including Susser, Dean James Max, Clay Conley, Zach Bell, and Michelle Bernstein.
It’s all happening October 30 from 6-10pm at the Miami Science Museum. You can get tickets online for $20 or at the door for $25.
